Over the last few decades anawareness of the environment has become part of our daily lives and concerns us in many areas, public and private. In the field of landscape gardening, sustainable designs have been developed which are attractive but at the same time provide a reduction in pollution, both in noise and environmentally. This book presents a wide selection of designs for attic apartments and terraces which enable enjoyment of green space in private, urban surroundings. The exteriors featured have provided additional habitable spaces as they represent the incorporation of the garden into the interior and vice versa, resulting in an elegant connection between inside and out. These areas have been created not only with sustainable criteria, but also with good design, the size of the space and its function in mind. The result is a compilation of arround 40 proiects with differnent styles, dimensiona and indigenous landscaping.
